Research shows that couples who seek therapy are more likely to remain together, and to report higher levels of relationship satisfaction. This is because therapy provides couples with the tools and strategies they need to address their challenges in a healthy and constructive way, which leads to greater understanding, communication, and connection.
Our approach is designed to help you gain clarity, confidence, and empowerment in your decision-making process, and to provide you with the tools and strategies that can help you navigate your relationship.
By working together, we can help you transform your roadblock into a springboard, and move towards greater strength, understanding, and love.
Our couples counseling ranges from maintenance therapy - usually once a month - to more serious types of couples counseling, including weekly appointments and intensive counseling (4-8 hours of therapy in a day).
Typically, clients meet with us once a week or once every-other week.
We use an integrative approach of evidence-based models in our practice, including:
Gottman Therapy
Used to help understand and implement healthy behavior in relationships
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT)
Used for identifying and breaking out of cycles, improving communication, and managing intense emotions
Imago Therapy
Used to highlight how an individual may be bringing in unresolved items or unhealthy behavior from their childhood or family of origin to their present day relationships
life. Every project we take on is an opportunity to learn, grow, and do something meaningful. We treat our clients like partners and our work like craft.
