Collaborative Divorce Packages (Flat-Rate):

At Atlanta Marriage & Mediation Clinic (AMMC), we offer flat-rate Collaborative Divorce Packages designed for couples who want a respectful, efficient, and solution-focused divorce process without the uncertainty of open-ended billing.

In many collaborative cases, we are able to guide couples through the full divorce process from A-Z for approximately $4,000.00 to $6,000.00 (often $2000.00 - $3000.00 per party) depending on complexity, the amount of mediation time required, and financial/legal considerations.

This typically includes divorce financial analysis, child support planning, custody schedule development, a parenting plan, alimony considerations (if applicable). These packages do not include services that may be required through outside providers or court appointment, such as a guardian ad litem. We have relationships with attorneys who have committed to a flat rate filing fee as part of this process, however, these fees are not included in the services we complete. Because every family’s situation is different, we remain flexible and can tailor services to fit your needs. However, most clients fall into one of three recommended package levels - Simple Divorce, Standard Divorce, or Comprehensive Divorce - based primarily on the amount of professional time the process is expected to require.

These packages are exclusively for collaborative divorces and are intended to guide couples through the full process (mediation, financial decision support when applicable, and drafting of agreements), as long as both parties remain within the agreed-upon scope.

The total cost is often split between both parties.

Below, you’ll see example client scenarios for each package level. These are meant to help you identify the best fit based on the complexity of issues, parenting considerations, and financial/legal detail involved, not to create rigid requirements. During your intake, we will confirm the best package recommendation and make adjustments as needed.

To ensure the process stays predictable and efficient, we strongly recommend that each party consult with an attorney prior to beginning services. This allows legal counsel to flag any potential issues that could require special considerations or filings beyond a standard uncontested divorce filing fee.

Important Notes
• Flat-rate pricing remains guaranteed as long as both parties stay within the agreed-upon collaborative parameters.
• Contested cases do not qualify for flat-rate packages and are handled under standard hourly billing.
• Court filing is separate and billed at an additional $1,500.00 - $2000.00 at the conclusion of mediation.
