William A. Smith, MSW, LCSW
William Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Mediator, Board Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator, and Forensic Social Worker.
Will graduated with his Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of Washington in Seattle in 2012 and specializes at the intersection of Trauma, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Court Services. He has completed post-graduate training at The Gottman Institute in Seattle and The Woodsfellow Institute for Couples Therapy in Atlanta, and also many family law training and certificates. In addition to therapy, Will is experienced in various forensic mental health evaluations and expert testimony.
Will is on several metro-Atlanta mediation rosters, including Gwinnett County, Cobb County, and Cherokee County. He regularly facilitates private mediation and is part of the Amicable Divorce Network.

Jillian Blum, PhD, LPC
Jillian Blum is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Mediator. Dr. Blum has a Doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from The Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests have included analyzing family life cycles, parenting experiences, multicultural concepts, addiction, and LGBTQ topics.
Dr. Blum is a Certified Discernment Counselor. Her clinical specialties also include Marriage and Family counseling, life transitions, gender identity, and mood disorders.
Dr. Blum also is CEO of a Decatur based private practice, Transitional Counselor of Georgia, since 2014 that provides individual, couples, and group therapy. She has training in Cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment therapy, and rational emotive behavior therapy. She has had the privilege of working with a diverse client base throughout her training and career. She also has conducted presentations at conferences and continuing education classes on multicultural topics and its impact on family dynamics. Dr. Blum is particularly interested in family conflict resolution through the lens of attachment styles.
Dane Nguyen, CDFA
Dane Nguyen, CDFA®, provides financial analysis for individuals navigating divorce. With a background in finance and specialized training as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Dane delivers objective insights on asset division, retirement planning, tax considerations, and long-term financial strategies to support informed decision-making. Dane holds a finance degree from Kennesaw State University and professional experience as a Federal Bank Examiner, Banker, and Credit Analyst.

Malcolm Smith joins AMMC following a career in residential real estate and business, where he developed advanced skills in negotiation, contracts, problem-solving, and client service.
Motivated by a desire to make a more direct impact on individuals, families, and communities, he transitioned into social work, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Georgia State University, where he also studied Restorative Justice.
Malcolm is passionate about helping clients resolve disputes outside of litigation, preserve important relationships, and support family- and community-centered solutions. He is currently registered as a General and Civil Mediator and also serves as a Conflict Resolution Consultant, working with parties on issues that require facilitating communication but are not applicable for court (for example, private family disagreements).
Drawing on his combined backgrounds in real estate, business, and behavioral health, Malcolm is particularly well suited to assist with landlord-tenant disputes, HOA and property conflicts, small claims matters, divorce-related real estate issues, and cases involving mental health or substance use concerns. His practical and solution-focused approach helps parties identify creative, workable agreements.
In addition to his work with The Atlanta Marriage and Mediation Clinic, Malcolm serves as a Criminal Mitigation Specialist with Georgia Forensic Consulting, LLC.
Nicole Rogers, CDFA
Nicole Rogers is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Certified Forensic Accountant, Divorce Coach, and Registered Mediator.
Nicole holds a degree in accounting. Prior to going into private practice, Nicole worked for over twenty years as a paralegal, and is intimately familiar with assisting clients throughout the divorce process.
Nicole works with AMMC to assist clients in understanding the financial aspects of divorce, including preparing financial documents for mediation, serving as a mediator, and working with clients to understand financial options before, during, and after divorce.
Her background as a paralegal is a tremendous asset in working with our clients’ attorneys to ensure the divorce process runs as smoothly as possible.
Furthermore, Nicole is able to use her skillsets to work with clients as a Divorce Coach to help clients process their divorce and discuss various other options and topics related to divorce.
Brandon Lanus, CPS, Certified Life Coach

Brandon Lanus serves as a Conflict Resolution and Family Support Specialist with the Atlanta Marriage and Mediation Clinic. As a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS), Certified Life Coach, and Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, Brandon provides practical, goal-oriented support to individuals, couples, and families seeking to improve communication, reduce conflict, and create healthier relationships.
Brandon works with clients who may be experiencing family conflict, co-parenting challenges, relationship stress, life transitions, recovery-related concerns, or difficulties achieving personal goals. Drawing upon both professional training and lived experience, he helps clients develop effective communication skills, identify barriers to success, strengthen accountability, and build sustainable plans for positive change.
As a Prepare/Enrich® Facilitator, Brandon assists couples in strengthening their relationships through evidence-based assessment, education, and skill-building. He may also support clients engaged in mediation or conflict resolution services by helping them clarify goals, improve communication, and prepare for productive discussions.
Brandon's approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused. While Brandon does not provide psychotherapy or legal advice, he works alongside AMMC's therapists, mediators, and other professionals to help clients move toward greater stability, personal growth, and healthier family relationships.
